We went to Brussels to see what Belgium’s captial had to offer. It’s a really lovely city that deserves more attention. Here’s our video, we hope you like it.
We’ve been really enjoying exploring the Benelux region. We recently spent a weekend in Amsterdam, and then we decided to visit Belgium’s captial, Brussels. I personally had never visited Brussels, but it’s one of Alessia’s favourite places and she wanted to show me the sights. Turns out that Brussels has so much to offer. Even in the spitting rain and harsh cold, it retains its elegant charm and beauty, and the food’s great.
There’s also a common misconception about Belgian cuisine being limited to chips and mayonnaise. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We had some wonderful food in Brussels, and very few chips (although they are worth trying). We had some delicious brunches at places like Chyl and La Fabrique (which is probably one of the best brunches we’ve ever had). Make sure you book if you want to check out these places. They tend to get quite busy.
We couldn’t recommend Brussels highly enough, and the video above is just a brief snippet of our time there. We hope you like it.
